Nanny Needed – Citywest (Barnoaks) – Start 21 September We are looking for a kind, reliable and positive nanny to care for our 5-year-old son in our home in Barnoaks, Citywest. 📅 Schedule: Monday–Thursday 14:00–19:00 20 hours per week €20–€22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Start date: 21 September 👦 About our child: Our son is 5 years old, friendly, active and curious. He has been attending an English-speaking crèche for almost two years and currently has limited English speech. He has ASD, so we are looking for someone who is patient, understanding and supportive. He may occasionally experience meltdowns or tantrums, and we need someone who can remain calm, help him regulate his emotions, and support him through these moments in a positive and reassuring way. 🏡 Main duties: School pick-up Going to the playground and other outdoor activities Preparing simple meals and helping with meals Playing and engaging with him at home Supporting his daily routine Creating a safe, positive and structured environment 🐶 Additional information: We have a small, friendly Maltese dog at home, so you should be comfortable around dogs. 💛 We are looking for someone who: Genuinely enjoys working with children Is patient, calm, warm and positive Can set clear and consistent boundaries in a kind way Is reliable and responsible Has previous childcare experience Has experience working with children with ASD or additional needs — a great advantage, but not essential Is comfortable supporting a very active 5-year-old If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
