We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and compassionate carer to provide overnight care and supervision for our elderly mother in her home near Ballylanders, Co. Limerick. About Mum: - She is an elderly lady living with Parkinson’s disease. - Her physical mobility is declining, and she is at an increased risk of falls, particularly when getting up at night. - She lives independently at home but needs someone present overnight to ensure her safety, help with mobility, and offer reassurance. About the Role: Position: Overnight Caregiver (sleeping shift or waking night depending on arrangement). Location: Near Ballylanders, Co. Limerick (own transport essential due to rural location). Key Responsibilities: - Night-time supervision and mobility support (ensuring safe transfer to/from the bathroom and preventing falls). - Assistance with settling at night and getting up in the morning. - Reassurance if she becomes disoriented or anxious during the night. Requirements: - Previous experience in elderly care / home care - References and Garda Vetting (or willingness to undergo vetting). - Own transport / full driving licence. - Patient, warm, and trustworthy nature.
