Hi there, We are a family based near Macroom in Co.Cork looking for live in support from mid-Jan for about 6-8 weeks. We have a one bed granny flat that will be fully available and is totally private from the rest of the house with own kitchen/living space available for our au pair. Where we live is very accessible to all the surrounding towns by bus and is ideal for someone who wants to explore the south of Ireland. We have 2 children, a boy (6) and a girl (4). Our beautiful little boy is autistic and non speaking. He is a gentle little boy, very loving and happy. he is very easygoing and straight forward once you understand his needs. It would be essential that the person caring for him is completely comfortable with this care needs. Experience with autistic children is desirable but not essential. Our little girl is a wonderful clever little girl. She is playful and happy and full of questions! We are looking for someone who will help us in the mornings getting the children out to school, and some after school and weekends support. We will also will need some light housekeeping. We are very flexible and happy to remain so. It’s mostly to support us in our day to day caring of our children.
