We are a warm French family who have been living in Ireland for over 20 years, looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny/childminder to look after our lovely 15-month-old daughter, Selma, in our home. We are looking for someone to join us 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm. We also have a 13-year-old daughter and a very friendly cat, although the role is primarily focused on caring for Selma. We are looking for someone who: Has a minimum of 2 years' experience caring for babies/toddlers Is Garda vetted Has First Aid training, or is happy to complete a First Aid course which we will pay for Is warm, caring, reliable and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children Enjoys being outdoors and active – Selma loves getting out for walks, going to the playground and exploring Is happy to bring Selma to some of her regular activities/classes during the week Is comfortable using public transport when needed. Driving is a plus but not essential, as buses can be used for her activities Is happy to prepare simple meals/snacks for Selma and help keep her play/eating areas tidy during the day We're hoping to find someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our family's routine and build a lovely relationship with Selma.
