We are a warm, friendly family living in Blackrock, South Dublin, looking for a kind, responsible and enthusiastic live-in au pair to join us as soon as possible. We have two lovely children, Lucy (5) and James (4). They are both in school/Montessori during the day and love playing, being outdoors, swimming, books and activities. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and who will become a happy and trusted part of our family. The role includes: - Morning routine and school/Montessori drop-offs - Afternoon collections - Playing with the children and taking them to activities/playgrounds - Preparing simple meals/dinner for the children - Helping with children's laundry, toys and general tidying - Babysitting occasionally by arrangement - No driving required – schools and activities are all within walking distance About us: We are a professional, busy but very family-focused family. We want our au pair to feel comfortable and included in our home, while also having plenty of independence and free time. You would have your own bedroom and full board, with generous pocket money. We are looking for someone who is: - Warm, patient and kind - Confident and comfortable with children aged 4–5 - Responsible and proactive - Energetic and happy to get involved with the children - Ideally experienced with young children - Looking for a genuine family experience rather than simply accommodation Start date: ASAP / next week. We would ideally love someone who can stay for several months or longer, but we are happy to discuss different arrangements for the right person.
